We found our way back.
Before there was a restaurant, a menu, or a stage filled with music, there were two people who had lost themselves—and fought their way back.
Both of us know what addiction can take. It can steal time, hope, relationships, confidence, and the life you once imagined for yourself. We both walked that road. We both made mistakes. And we both learned that recovery is about far more than simply putting down drugs or alcohol.
Recovery gave us the chance to get our souls back.
As we rebuilt our own lives, we found each other. What began as two separate stories of survival became one shared vision: to build something that would outlast our pain and mean something to the people around us.
We did not want to open just another restaurant. We wanted to create a place where people could feel welcome the moment they walked through the door—a place where strangers become friends over coffee, families reconnect around a meal, musicians tell their stories from the stage, and laughter is louder than judgment.
That is why we called it Soulback.
Because every one of us reaches a crossroads. Every one of us knows what it feels like to lose some part of ourselves. And every one of us deserves the chance to choose hope, connection, and a new beginning.
We did not just rebuild our lives. We began building a legacy together.
Every cup of coffee, every meal from our kitchen, and every song played on our stage is part of that legacy. Soulback is proof that broken things can become beautiful, that redemption is real, and that a life once shaped by addiction can become a life defined by service, community, love, and purpose.
